IMS Continues Strong Growth in the First Half of 2026

The first half of 2026 has marked another successful period for IMS, with significant business growth achieved during both Q1 and Q2. What makes this achievement particularly meaningful is that the majority of our projects have come from existing clients. IMS is proud to report that we have not lost a single client, and many of our long-term partners have continued to entrust us with an increasing number of coating supervision and inspection assignments. During the first six months of 2026, IMS successfully supported a wide range of projects, including full cargo tank lining applications using MarineLINE 784 systems, partial refurbishment of Phenolic Epoxy cargo tank coatings, and supervision of silicone hull coating applications. These projects demonstrate both the breadth of our expertise and the confidence our clients place in our services. At IMS, we firmly believe that trust is earned through professionalism, technical competence, commitment, and consistent performance. Over the years, our team has maintained an outstanding track record, delivering high-quality services with zero project failures and zero client complaints. Although IMS is a specialized and agile organization, our dedication to excellence enables us to provide reliable support to shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, and coating manufacturers worldwide. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our clients and partners for their continued trust and support. Their confidence in IMS remains the foundation of our success and motivates us to continue delivering professional coating consultancy, inspection, and supervision services to the highest standards. COT Coating Refurbishment Supervision Completed in Indonesia

IMS recently completed the comprehensive inspection and supervision of cargo oil tank (COT) coating refurbishment for a European client in Indonesia. The project presented significant challenges due to the shipyard’s lack of experience with full COT recoating for chemical tankers. Faced with a tight schedule, technical complexity, limited skilled spray painters, and inexperienced QC inspectors, the IMS on-site Supervisor stepped in decisively. Hands-on training was provided to the yard’s QC team covering coating procedures, inspection standards, and quality requirements. In addition, practical guidance was delivered directly to spray painters working inside the tanks, ensuring proper application techniques were followed and coating performance optimized.
